Leo
German Shepherd / Male
DOB April 2018
Leo- named after Leo Diamond- is known for superior sparkle and brilliance while also visibly brighter! This German Shepherd is a not only a looker but a big people pleaser. Very willing and eager to do commands and enjoys training! Loves walks and being with his person. He, along with his sister Precious Gem (Gemma), were dumped on on the side of a highway. Because of this both dogs will require slow intros to any new people but they are quick to trust and after that they are wonderful. Our neighbor's kids come over and feed them treats and they are very gentle when taking them. German Shepherds are naturally herding dogs so should always be kept leashed around small children running. Our rescue has only had Leo a short time, but he has made huge improvements with his manners! When he arrived, he would jump uncontrollably and now with a little training he knows commands such as down & off. He will still require some further training on this from his new owners so expect some excited jumping at first, but he’s smart enough where this habit will break easily! He knows sit very well and lay down. He Is dog and cat friendly and sitting at a little over a year old, is young enough to train into the dog you want without all of the puppy nonsense.
Leo has been neutered, microchipped & vaccinated. His adoption fee is $375. If you are interested in learning more about him, or applying for his adoption, email [email protected]
