Lisa has been a retail manager for over 25 yrs, received a bachelor of science degree in Human Resources Management and Business Management. She recently started working as a contract employee at HomeSmart from Xcel Energy. Lisa has loved and had many different pets from many different species. She even trained horses for wsca gaming events while in high school! Lisa has had Tigu lizards, python snakes, horses, cats, dogs, an occasional turkey, and chickens. When tragedy struck and her chow chow Teddy died from Lymphoma, she was devastated and wanted to wait before she looked for another dog. She still had her baby girl, an American Staffordshire Terrier, Cheyenne. When she saw pictures of a beautiful spunky blue Staffie posted on MG Impound facebook page, she fell in love. Time was of the essence... he was going to be euthanized! She found a rescue to pull him for her in January 2013, and rescue became a huge part of her passion, her heart and her soul! Since joining PPAR in October of 2014, she has been a foster to numerous puppies and dogs and has organized countless events and fundraisers. She is an amazing asset to the team.
