Sisu
Breed: Tabby
Date of Birth: 4/24/2020
Sisu is an adorable orange tabby with white feet. Sisu’s date of birth is April 24, 2020. Like his 3 siblings, Sisu was born in the wild and is now in the process of learning to adjust to life on the inside, to become a friendly, affectionate member of a loving household. And he is making progress every day. He is updated on all necessary medical procedures except neuter and microchipping which will be done in October. Sisu is a frightened little kitten. So, he may hiss and run away at first. He needs patience and love and the ability to offer him room to become comfortable in his new environment. However, he is making progress every day. He loves running and playing with his siblings and cat toys. Food is a big motivator. His name means ‘strength and endurance through hardship’ in Finnish.
Alani and Sisu are bonded and here is what the foster has to say about the pair:
Alani and Sisu are two adorable orange and white, tabby, domestic short-hair kittens born April 24, 2020.
Since June, they have been in foster care and along the way have bonded nicely and so would love to remain together. They play together and chase each other keeping one another from the boredom that sets in periodically with kittens. Then, tuckered out, they nap together and all is quiet.
What you can expect from these two cuties: Both of these sweeties will come sit on your lap and rest comfortably with you. They are quick to purr and don’t mind being picked up, although they will very soon want to get down. They spend time looking out the windows for birds and other ‘prey’ they wish they could get to. They love food – especially treats. Their favorite thing, though, is tummy rubs and they will lay on their backs any chance they get and let you rub their bellies just about as long as you can stand it. They are well-trained using the litter box and utilize it religiously. When someone is at the door, the boys will scatter quickly and hide until they feel it is safe to re-emerge.
Both kittens have had all their necessary vaccinations, neutering and will be microchipped shortly. They have not met dogs or children.
